Coronovirus COVID-19 is affecting 219 countries and territories. To properly reflect the data and track each deaths in blockchain, we have deployed a ZRC-2 fungible token on Zilliqa main-net called COVID-19.
What is COVID-19 token?
The initial supply of COVID-19 token is 32,181,782 to match up world’s total active cases of COVID-19 as of March 31st plus 10 million token for final holder adjustment distribution.
Initial Supply = Current Active Cases + Retroactive Deaths = 32,181,782
Current Supply = Current Active Cases — Retroactive Deaths = 29,360,428
Burning: We will always burn the total deaths 1:1 in COVID-19 token every 1st of each month. For retroactive adjustment, we have burnt 2,821,354 today.
Burning will happen to all wallet holder’s in the same ratio. When there will be 0 active cases, only 10 million COVID-19 tokens will be in circulation.
Minting: We will always mint the total new active cases 1:1 in COVID-19 token every 1st of each month.
What’s the motive?
This token tracks total active cases and total deaths of human population because of COVID-19 cases in Zilliqa blockchain.
90% tokens are placed in liquidity pool of Zilswap. The value of token increases when there will be less and less COVID-19 cases as supply decreases.
